To support the Editor of 5 News in driving a distinctive and independent editorial agenda, whilst maintaining high standards and quality of output across all platforms. The successful candidate will show a strong understanding of the 5 News agenda and know how to deliver content that drives it forward. The Deputy Editor will take charge of the newsroom, leading all editorial decisions, in the absence of the Editor. This role involves planning for special programmes and oversight of all daily newsgathering and long-term projects.
