THE JOB:
Reporting to the Sales Director, the role will involve:
To oversee and manage the sales functions of the materials handling and conveyor business in order to ensure that a consistent flow of orders are offered to the business that meets the targets of the business, and does not expose the business to commercial liabilities.
To develop a strong customer portfolio and order base as well as manage/develop a growing sales team in conjunction with external resources as necessary to bring orders into the business. The key is to add value to the business, driving excellence for product delivery such that customers place repeat orders thus creating long term relationships with key accounts.
To develop the skill base of the sales team in conjunction with external resources as necessary so that it meets the needs of the business at all times.
To work effectively with the Sales and Marketing team to maintain unparalleled appreciation of the market place, and in particular customer present, near future and blue-sky aspirations
