Key Responsibilities for this role will be;
Planning, coordinating and monitoring all the warehouse duties.
Ensure all machinery (fork trucks, shrink-wrap machines) are safe and serviced regularly.
Hands on with the daily operational plan, highlighting delays and issues.
Specific functional responsibilities on the loading bays.
Optimising the use of logistics resources.
Supervising staffing levels to meet volumes and productivity
Directing the daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for the team.
Ensuring compliance to standard operating procedures and legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements of logistics operations.
Ensuring company policies are communicated, applied and enforced surrounding the safety and security aspects.
